Nottingham Forest were forced to settle for a draw in their season opener on Saturday against Bournemouth.
Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side looked set to just cling on to all three points before Antoine Semenyo secured the Cherries a late point.
It will be undoubtedly a frustrating one for the Forest fans to accept given they were so close to getting their 2024/25 campaign off to the perfect start, but there are positives to take.
There were no debuts on display for the Reds on Saturday in the starting XI with Nikola Milenkovic omitted from the side due to a very specific reason.
But there will be more players to work their way into the squad over the coming weeks with Ramon Sosa having also been unveiled to City Ground crowd ahead of kick off.
The Paraguayan has marked Forest’s seventh signing of the summer with just under two weeks remaining for Forest to complete any final deals.

What Ryan Yates said about Forest signing Ramon Sosa
The Reds have been active in the transfer window and Evangelos Marinakis is still looking to make some deals work.
Forest are believed to be eyeing left-back Alex Moreno from Aston Villa on a season-long loan deal having just signed Sosa.
The Forest midfielder, Ryan Yates, admitted that he was in bed when Forest announced the signing of Sosa on Friday evening.

Yates was called into action in unfortunate circumstances after Danilo’s horrific injury in the early stages of the game.
But he has told the club’s YouTube channel that there should be excitement from the fans for what could be to come from their latest signing.
“Yeah, I was in bed [when Forest announced Sosa]. I saw it this morning [Saturday],” Yates joked.
“But yeah, I’m sure the lads they’ve have brought in, so far, are not only good players, but also really good people. So, I’m sure they’ll have brought in a really good person again.”
Ramon Sosa has shown he’s ready to give everything for Nottingham Forest
In the Paraguayan winger, Forest have themselves a player who is ready to give everything for the shirt.
That can be seen through his demand to force through a transfer after Sosa rebelled against Talleres training to help push the move to Forest.
Although it may not go down well with everyone, it does show the winger’s wish to play at the City Ground as he put himself in a sticky position with his former club.
But he may well have to wait for his opportunity with Nuno having failed to provide any debuts from the start in the game on Saturday.
