Nuno Espirito Santo has brought the best out of a number of Nottingham Forest players this season, and recently shut down claims of one of his men being underrated.
Nottingham Forest fans get the chance to see their side in action once again in front of the Sky cameras on Friday night, with Leicester City and Steve Cooper on the agenda.
Interestingly, Cooper has already spoken about the dangers of Chris Wood ahead of the clash, as he’s seen the quality he possesses first-hand from his time at the City Ground.
Nuno Espirito Santo has also been friendly in his press conference ahead of the East Midlands derby, speaking about how ‘amazing’ Cooper was as the manager of Forest.
It wasn’t just Cooper that received praise from the Forest boss, as one member of his squad was the subject of a question from a reporter.

Nuno Espirito Santo makes Chris Wood admission ahead of Leicester City
Chris Wood has morphed into Nottingham Forest’s main man so far this season, as a player they can always rely on to come up with the goods.
The one game Wood really struggled this season was against Fulham at the City Ground, but that was purely down to the lack of service both he and Taiwo Awoniyi received.
Nuno Espirito Santo certainly likes what he’s seeing from his striker.
Speaking in his pre-Leicester press conference, the Portuguese boss had this to say when asked if Chris Wood is a player who’s maybe a little bit underrated.
“Not by us. Not by me at all. I have a big admiration for Chris since we arrived, he’s been amazing. I always say the same, it’s not only on the pitch and we are delighted.
“And what we want is for him to continue.”
Ryan Yates is underrated at Nottingham Forest
When you look at players who are perhaps underrated at Nottingham Forest, Ryan Yates springs to mind.
The midfielder’s relentless work both on and off the ball often goes unnoticed. He’s quite often the one doing the dirty work, breaking up play and turning defence into attack.
David Prutton is someone who hasn’t let his hard work go unnoticed, as he said he can tell that Yates actually cares about playing for Forest.
Yates has even been given a new nickname of ‘cockroach’ by Don Hutchinson, which on first glance is slightly strange, but when you think about it he is a pest for the opposition.
