Nottingham Forest fans can sit back and enjoy their weekends now following three big points on Friday night.
The Reds kicked off this weekend’s Premier League action with an away trip to Leicester City where they came up against their former manager.
Nuno Espirito Santo may have been sat up in the stands as he served the second game of his touchline ban but he got the better of Steve Cooper.
The travelling supporters rubbed salt into the wound as the Forest fans sang Cooper’s name from the away end.
Forest are flying in the Premier League as they climbed up to fifth ahead of the remaining games of the weekend.
Not many would have expected the Reds to have come out of the traps in the fashion that they have with Jamie Carragher stunned by one player, in particular.

Jamie Carragher wowed by Forest player who’s a ‘handful’
There were a number of positive performances on Friday night from the Forest players as they marked 16 points for the season.
Former manager Martin O’Neill waxed lyrical about Ryan Yates’ performance after the midfielder opened the scoring.
However, there was another player who really stood out and has done all season for the former Liverpool defender, Carragher.
Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Carragher admitted he’s been stunned by what he’s seen from the £15m Chris Wood this season.
“In terms of Chris Wood, it didn’t quite happen for him at Newcastle for whatever reason. Maybe he suited this style of football,” he said.
“I think he was at Burnley with Sean Dyche, similar sort of football here under Nuno as well. That suits him. You try and hit him early, get the ball in the box.
“He is just one of those Premier League strikers who you would never envisage playing at the real top. But he is a handful and he always does his job.”
Chris Wood battling Erling Haaland for Premier League Golden Boot
After his two goals in the second half of the game on Friday night, Wood has climbed up to seven for the season with only Manchester City’s Erling Haaland ahead of him in the standings.
Forest also have two upcoming games where Wood will be eyeing more goals with West Ham and Newcastle United both susceptible to conceding this season.
What will be interesting to see is how Wood gets on when he comes up against Haaland and Manchester City in the first week of December.
Wood showed some fine form last season with a return of 15 goals in the league but this has been an unexpected start to the season from the New Zealand international.
