Nottingham Forest have been in regular contact with the FA in recent weeks, but they’re still not happy with one thing that’s gone on.
Nuno Espirito Santo has just one game left of his three-match suspension after being charged by the FA for his reaction to Morgan Gibbs-White’s red card against Brighton.
Gibbs-White’s suspension was up after the Crystal Palace game, whilst Evangelos Marinakis was handed a five-game stadium ban for allegedly spitting and other antics.
Another incident that occurred at Stamford Bridge didn’t please fans, as Morato was lashed out on by Nicolas Jackson, which went unpunished by the FA.
However, an incident involving Kudus slapping a couple of players during West Ham United vs Tottenham Hotspur resulted in the African attacker being charged by the FA, which raised consistency concerns.
Now, the FA have released their document on everything to do with the charges and the findings from the Chelsea incident, and it’s clear they’re still not happy.

The FA not happy with Nottingham Forest’s response to Chelsea charges
Nottingham Forest have done their talking on the field in recent games, taking six points from their last two games in the Premier League.
Nottingham Forest and Chelsea have been fined £125,000 and £40,000 respectively, despite the FA acknowledging that the Reds played a lesser role in the antics.
However, the FA continues to communicate with the club, and their latest document involves all the charges and responses to the charges given to both Nottingham Forest and Chelsea.
The FA document states.
“Turning to NFFC, we accept that their role within the incident itself was a lesser one, but nevertheless contributed to a deeply unseemly scene.
“Their position is aggravated by a significantly worse misconduct history for E20 offences. It seems to this commission that the club are doing very little to address this sort of behaviour.
“Indeed, we note in NFFC’s written submissions there is not one word of regret or apology, which is disappointing nor any indication that they are addressing the issues that clearly exist.
“However, we give them credit for the admission of their charge.”
Nottingham Forest will feel aggrieved
The fact that Nicolas Jackson walks away without even being charged is crazy.
Gibbs-White, Nuno Espirito Santo and Marinakis have all rightly been punished, but to give them such severe charges and not punish others is where the consistency gets questioned.
If Nottingham Forest feel they weren’t in the wrong, then of course they have every right to stand with their decision and don’t have to apologise if they deem it not necessary.
Every team has a past, and Nottingham Forest’s might not be amazing when it comes to misconduct, but every charge should be treated at face value.
