Nottingham Forest are flying high in the Premier League with an emphatic 3-0 victory against West Ham United on Saturday.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are defying the critics who had them down to be relegated this season as they now sit in third spot.

There have been some stunning performances this season already and the Forest fans hailed Morgan Gibbs-White on his return against the Irons.

After the season which Forest endured last season, not many will have expected their start to the 2024/25 campaign to be quite this good.

But the Reds are now sat on 19 points in third spot of the Premier League table and the City Ground crowd were loving every minute of it on Saturday.

What Nottingham Forest fans sang vs West Ham

According to Sky Sports reporter Patrick Rowe, the City Ground crowd were in party mode as their side won in style against the Irons.

“Chants of ‘we’re going to win the league’ have erupted from the home crowd,” he said.

Clearly, the home crowd were enjoying themselves and coming into the game West Ham’s Michail Antonio hailed the Forest fans following his time at the club.

And it would be hard not to get excited about what Nuno’s side are putting together currently at the City Ground.

Alan Pardew is expecting Forest’s form to drop off shortly but the Reds are showing no sign of that with six goals in their last two games now.

For now, Forest fans must enjoy their current form as the football which is ony display is simply sublime.

Ryan Yates denied his first City Ground goal

The roof nearly lifted off at the City Ground in the added on minutes towards the end of the game after Ryan Yates put the ball into the back of the net.

Coming into the game, Yates admitted he’s desperate to score at the City Ground after netting against Leicester City.

It was a fine finish from the midfielder who is proving more than worthy of starting in the middle but VAR intervened to halt the celebrations.

That really would have been the cherry on top of the cake for the Reds who do not have a lot to complain about after 10 games of this 24/25 campaign.
