The vibes at Nottingham Forest are the best they’ve ever been right now, and it looks as if Evangelos Marinakis is set to start rewarding people.

A win over West Ham last time out pushed Nottingham Forest into third in the Premier League table, with dreams of a European place looking even more likely.

Julen Lopetegui was full of praise for Nuno Espirito Santo and his side prior to the clash at the weekend, but he probably wasn’t feeling so kind after his side were put to the sword at the City Ground.

Chris Wood was given the new nickname of ‘Woodaldinho’ after grabbing his eighth goal of the season against the Hammers, as he continues to defy expectations.

Interestingly, it appears as if Evangelos Marinakis is pleased with what he’s seeing on the field, as he looks set to reward one man for his efforts.

Nuno Espirito Santo set to be offered a new deal at Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest are already planning on offering new deals to the likes of Chris Wood and Ola Aina after their fine starts to the season.

The only player who isn’t in contract talks as of yet is Murillo.

Interestingly, Nuno Espirito Santo appears to be the next man on the list.

This comes amid Marinakis’ plans to get Edu to take up a role in his multi-club model, which could involve Nottingham Forest.

According to TalkSPORT, Nuno Espirito Santo is set to be rewarded for Nottingham Forest’s start to the season with a bumper new contract.

This comes due to Evangelos Marinakis being so impressed.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s transformation of Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest could barely defend last season and set-pieces were a huge issue, but you wouldn’t know any of that if you watched the Reds this season.

We’ve only conceded two goals in the first ten games from set pieces, which is a huge step up, and to have the second best defence in the Premier League is unbelievable.

It’s the togetherness he’s instilled in the squad too that is evident, with most wins followed by a drink with the social media staff and a dance from the players.

The signings of Elliot Anderson and Nikola Milenkovic have been massive, and Nuno no doubt had a huge say in those two coming this summer.
