Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has done a lot of incredible work in football, and he’s finally getting recognition for his efforts.
Evangelos Marinakis’ dream of securing European football with Nottingham Forest looks as close as it’s ever been this season, with the Reds currently in sixth.
However, the upcoming run of fixtures could decide Forest’s European fate, starting with Manchester City on Wednesday night.

The Nottingham Forest owner has noticed the importance of his side’s current position and already has a January transfer plan in place at the City Ground.
Interestingly, it looks as if he’s getting some recognition of his own, as Fabrizio Romano has announced that he’s won an award that he’ll receive at Golden Boy 2024.
Evangelos Marinakis scoops up award at Golden Boy 2024
Marinakis has done some fantastic work outside of Nottingham Forest too, seeing his Olympiacos side lift the Europa Conference League title last season.
He’s also set to improved his multi-club model with the addition of Edu, which could take it to the next level after seeing his work at Arsenal.

Fabrizio Romano has announced that the Nottingham Forest owner has picked up an award that many supporters will raise an eyebrow at.
Speaking on X, he said that Marinakis has won the European Golden Boy Career Award.
This was an award that Cesc Fabregas picked up in 2023 (One Football).

Evangelos Marinakis wants to buy Vasco de Gama
Marinakis is looking to expand his multi-club model with the addition of a club in South America, Asia and another European one moving forward.
According to reporter Jorge Nicola, Marinakis has Vasco de Gama in his sights.
“What I can tell you is that Marinakis, through intermediaries, has already reached Vasco, the information that he intends to talk and open negotiations for the purchase of the club,” he said.
“Edu Gaspar, who is the one who will play this type of negotiation at this moment, is in Saudi Arabia. So, this negotiation should stay for the next few days.
“Another important thing, exclusive information, Evangelos Marinakis and his son were in the middle of the year in Rio de Janeiro, representing and accompanying the sub-20 team of Olympiacos, which lost the Club World Cup final to Flamengo.
“And both left Rio de Janeiro delighted with the city, with the people and with the football spirit that exists in Rio de Janeiro, which only increases this pretension of having a football team in Brazil and, more specifically, in Rio de Janeiro. I repeat, Edu Gaspar is the one who will play these negotiations.
“And Edu had, last season, while still working with Arsenal, mapped eight Brazilian clubs. He had the opportunity and the idea of establishing a relationship between Arsenal and the Brazilian club. This idea ended up not advancing due to the option of Arsenal’s managers.
“I want to tell you that there is a Marinakis negotiation with another team from the Brazilian Championship Serie A. Vasco is not the only one Marinakis talks to.”
