Nottingham Forest have the fitness of Murillo and Callum Hudson-Odoi to worry about ahead of Monday’s trip to face Wolves.
The win over Everton wasn’t all smiles for Nottingham Forest fans, as Murillo pulled up with an injury prior to the game in the warm-up.
He’s since addressed his situation after feeling a tightness in his adductor muscle, but didn’t say too much.
‘Very happy for today’s big win and happy that I didn’t get seriously injured. Happy New Year to everyone and see you next year.’
Meanwhile, Callum Hudson-Odoi had a dead leg which was too painful to join up with the Reds.
However, both injuries don’t seem as bad as some may have feared, as an update has emerged.

Callum Hudson-Odoi and Murillo injury updates at Nottingham Forest
Murillo has played a vital part in the defensive third for Nottingham Forest this season, forming one of the best central defensive partnerships alongside Nikola Milenkovic.
Meanwhile, Hudson-Odoi has really come into his own on the left-hand side of midfield, scoring twice and assisting once so far this season.

There’s been a slight update ahead of the Wolves clash and it’s good news.
According to Athletic, Nottingham Forest are hopeful that neither Murillo nor Callum Hudson-Odoi will be sidelined for long with injury.
Both players will be carefully monitored over the next few days, in the hope that they will recover in time for the trip to Wolves.
Who could replace them if they aren’t deemed fit?
Morato did a pretty good job at replacing Murillo against Everton, as he looked very assured on the ball and was rarely troubled at the back.
Meanwhile, Anthony Elanga has hit a hot streak and Ramon Sosa has looked bright on the other flank, so those two could be called upon once again.
Wolves have been quite free-scoring and like to enjoy plenty of possession, so this could play into Forest’s hands just like at Goodison Park.
The counter-attack tactic fits perfectly for the squad Nuno has available to him, with the pace of the wingers and Morgan Gibbs-White turning defence to attack in seconds.
