Nottingham Forest secured a massive three points on Easter Monday.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in North London to move three points clear of sixth-placed Chelsea.
Nottingham Forest defended excellently in the capital, with Harry Toffolo impressing supporters in his first league start of the season.
Tottenham midfielder Dejan Kulusevski was blown away by Matz Sels, who produced a number of key saves.
Another positive from the game was Chris Wood getting back amongst the goals, as he netted his first since mid-February.
And, his goal actually moved Forest to the top of one really impressive statistic.

Nottingham Forest top headed goals stat
Wood added Forest’s second goal of the game against Tottenham with a terrific header.
Anthony Elanga’s curling cross found the big centre-forward, who was too cute for goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.
Interestingly, Wood’s strike now means no side in the Premier League have scored more headed goals than Forest.
Only Brentford can match their tally of 11, with Arsenal and Liverpool closely behind.
| Rank | Club | Headed goals |
|---|---|---|
| 1. | Brentford | 11 |
| 1. | Nottingham Forest | 11 |
| 3. | Arsenal | 10 |
| 3. | Liverpool | 10 |
| 5. | Aston Villa | 9 |
It’s encouraging to see Forest in such good company, as it shows how valuable that side of the game can be in England’s top-flight, so Nuno will certainly be delighted with that stat.

It’ll be fascinating to see who comes out on top, although, given Brentford’s recent form, Forest will certainly be expected to win the game.
The Bees have won two in seven and in the reverse fixture, Nuno’s men picked up three points in West London.
Victory for Forest would move them on to 63 points, which was a tally enough to secure Europa League football last term.
But, they’ll want much more than that, of course.
