Nottingham Forest are stepping up their efforts to sign new players with a couple of deals now firmly in the offing.

Dan Ndoye looks set to sign for Forest this summer, with talks now reaching an advanced stage after Evangelos Marinakis got himself involved in things.

The winger scored nine goals in all competitions last season and also registered five assists as Bologna won the Coppa Italia to qualify for Europe.

Ndoye isn’t the only winger being courted by Forest, however, and it would appear that things are getting pretty hot right now in the boardroom at the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest want Adama Traore

In the modern era, it’s rare that a head coach takes sole responsibility for recruitment, but it would appear that Nuno Espirito Santo is getting a say this summer.

According to The Telegraph, Espirito Santo is keen once again to work with Traore, who currently operates for Fulham.

The Forest head coach worked with the speed demon during his time at Wolves and now he’s eyeing a reunion with the winger who boasts blistering pace.

Traore produced seven assists last season and it’s claimed that Forest are now opening talks with Fulham over a summer transfer for the Premier League performer.

Traore would increase options from the bench

At 29, Traore would be considered a tried and tested option for the Forest wide areas and if the price is right, this feels like a good deal.

The rapid performer might be allowed to leave Craven Cottage during the window and now talks have opened over a possible move to Forest for the player.

Traore played under Espirito Santo for a number of years at Wolves and now the Forest head coach is looking for a reunion ahead of the UEFA Conference League this season.

The experienced performer knows all about the Premier League and if a deal can be struck, he would certainly be an upgrade on Sosa, who has departed and Jota Silva, who looks set to leave during this window.
