Nottingham Forest are still looking to finalise their squad for the 2025/26 campaign with a number of new signings still anticipated before the season gets underway.
The Reds have so far added Igor Jesus and Jair Cunha from Botafogo, with Dan Ndoye signing for Forest from Bologna on Thursday last week.
There is still more to iron out, though, with Nuno Espirito Santo wanting at least four more players before the Premier League campaign gets into swing.
Forest still have work to do on the outgoing front, too. Matt Turner has left for Lyon in the last few days, with Lewis O’Brien joining Wrexham last weekend, too.
Now, another player is set to leave the club, and a potential transfer is certainly going to provide some intrigue with another Premier League club.

Carlos Miguel could join Botafogo
The Brazilian goalkeeper was on the bench against Birmingham, with Matz Sels keeping goal for 90 minutes for the first time this pre-season.
Miguel has been told he can find a new club this summer and now, some links are emerging regarding his future.
According to Medeiros, the reputable Brazilian journalist, Miguel could now join Botafogo before the transfer window closes, with their goalkeeper set to be on the move.
John Victor has been linked with a move to West Ham this summer, and Botafogo have identified Miguel as a potential target.
Miguel made appearances in the cup competitions last season but didn’t take a bow in the Premier League, with Sels playing every game for the Reds.
One Premier League will take offence to Miguel deal
Crystal Palace will be waiting with the pitchforks if Botafogo try to take Miguel off Forest during the summer window.
Palace believe that something dodgy is going off with Evangelos Marinakis and John Textor – the owner of Botafogo – who left Crystal Palace after his mistake got them kicked out of the Europa League.
Miguel has his limitations as a stopper, and it’s fair to say that he’d relish the chance to return to Brazil and play some regular first-team football.
Miguel’s departure would leave the goalkeeping ranks somewhat short ahead of next season and a backup for Sels would need to be identified.
