Nottingham Forest have been very active this summer transfer window.
Nuno Espirito Santo has made eight new signings so far, and he’s still eager to get another three fresh faces through the door.
Forest are moving closer to signing Dilane Bakwa from RC Strasbourg, with the young winger potentially joining in a £35m transfer.
Bakwa has already agreed personal terms with the Tricky Trees, so it looks like he’s set to become the ninth addition of the window.
With that said, here’s how Premier League fans are reacting to Nottingham Forest’s transfer business this summer.

Premier League fans all saying the same thing about Nottingham Forest’s transfer business
Forest have arguably had the best transfer window across the entire Premier League, with a number of statement additions like Dan Ndoye and Douglas Luiz.
| Player | Left | Fee |
| Omari Hutchinson | Ipswich Town | £37.4m |
| Dan Ndoye | Bologna | £36.2m |
| Dilane Bakwa* | RC Strasbourg* | £35m* |
| Arnaud Kalimuendo | Stade Rennais | £25.8m |
| James McAtee | Manchester City | £21.9m |
| Douglas Luiz | Juventus | Loan (£21m obligation) |
| Igor Jesus | Botagofo | £16.3m |
| Jair Cunha | Botafogo | £10.3m |
| Angus Gunn | Norwich City | Free |
With Bakwa now looking likely, Premier League fans have swarmed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to react to Forest’s window.
“Their depth is crazy good already and will get even better lol,” @lfcG122 posted.
“Forest definitely finishing above us,” @adamcavfc1987 added.
@yer_man_himself commented: “Forest building 3 teams.”
“This is what you call backing,” @YasWWFC said.
Nottingham Forest still want more after Dilane Bakwa
Espirito Santo is desperate to sign two full-backs before the transfer window slams shut in just six days time.
Leicester City left-back Victor Kristiansen is an option for Forest and so too is Sevilla right-back Jose Angel Carmona.
Nuno is also eyeing Mads Bidstrup from RB Salzburg and the former Brentford midfielder is believed to be keen on a move to the City Ground.
So, there are still plenty of deals left to do the for the Tricky Trees ahead of what’s set to be a congested fixture list with European football on the horizon.
