Nuno Espirito Santo has proven himself as a head coach who can take a struggling side in the Premier League and elevate their status, and it seems he is set to try to do the same once more.
The Portuguese first did it with Wolves, where he oversaw their promotion to the Premier League and guided them to the Europa League.
At Nottingham Forest, Nuno did something similar. He saved them from relegation and later brought them back to European football for the first time in 30 years.
The work of Espirito Santo will no doubt be remembered by the Tricky Trees faithful, but after breaking news out of London on Saturday morning, he could be in line to return to the league.

Nuno Espirito Santo expected to take West Ham job
Graham Potter was remarkably sacked by West Ham on Saturday morning, and according to reports, former Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo is set to take over.
Nuno was let go by Evangelos Marinakis at the start of September after a barrage of public criticism from the head coach towards the club’s recruitment process.
The 51-year-old seemingly has not had to wait long for his next role, with the Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg stating Espirito Santo is expected to become West Ham’s new head coach.
The former Forest man has been warned about West Ham’s recruitment and that his issues at the City Ground could be worse for the Hammers.
Additionally, the Portuguese will now have the chance to manage a player he wanted at Forest, as he looks to build on the reputation he made as Forest head coach.
Nuno Espirito Santo will have to wait until next year for Nottingham Forest reunion
Nuno Espirito Santo and Nottingham Forest have already played West Ham at the City Ground, with a 3-0 loss to the East London club being his final game in charge.
So with any potential FA Cup draw aside, the Portuguese will have to wait until next season for a return to his former club.

The Tricky Trees do face West Ham in London just after the New Year, with a preliminary date of the 7th of January pencilled in. However, fixture dates are still subject to change.
After last season’s success, the idea of Espirito Santo in another team’s dugout would have been the last thing Forest fans expected, but that is now the reality.
