Vitor Pereira is keen to add more firepower to his ranks for next season, and Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis will go for quality over quantity this summer.

Elliot Anderson is being courted by Manchester City, but in large part, the Reds want to keep the majority of the squad together.

Nottingham Forest want Lois Openda

According to Football Italia, Juventus are keen to get rid of Openda this summer following an indifferent 2025/26 campaign.

He moved to the Old Lady from RB Leipzig but managed just two goals in 11 starts across all competitions in Turin.

Openda’s form at Leipzig was much better, with the player scoring 41 goals and claiming 18 assists from 93 appearances.

The player largely operates as a centre-forward but has occasionally proved at Juventus that he can play as a left-winger too.

👀Could Lois Openda be our number one striker next season?

Does the fact he scored twice in 37 games during 2025/26 bother you at all?🤔

Back in 2024, Tottenham were linked with Openda as a possible Harry Kane replacement.

Current Norwich boss Philippe Clement claimed he was ‘super-fast’ and believed he would go a long way in the game.

On that occasion, the Premier League never came calling, but now, Forest could bring him to England to bolster their attacking arsenal.

Openda has missed out on a World Cup spot with Belgium at this summer’s tournament.

That in itself could help Forest complete a deal, as the 26-year-old will almost certainly want to move to a club where he can play regularly next season as he fights to get his international spot back.

Openda is also linked with Eintracht Frankfurt and Monaco with his £40 million move to Juve proving to be an absolute disaster.
