Nottingham Forest have now got just two weeks to tie up any loose ends in the transfer window before the deadline at the end of the month.
It has certainly been a busy summer for Forest who have now seen seven new faces come through the doors at the City Ground.
But the time for talking is now up with the Reds getting their 2024/25 Premier League campaign underway on Saturday afternoon against Bournemouth.
Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side have enjoyed a solid pre-season which has seen Forest come up against a number of sides across a range of levels.
The Portuguese manager has been back well in the market by Evangelos Marinakis but there could still be some room for movement.
But there is news coming out of the club which has left Forest’s CFO Ross Wilson absolutely delighted ahead of their season opener.

Ross Wilson delighted with latest Nottingham Forest news
The Reds could still look for a new striker this summer with Forest showing an interest in Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah.
However, Forest were able to secure their seventh signing of the summer on Friday with the addition of Ramon Sosa.
And it is news which has gone down well at the City Ground with Wilson sharing his excitement to have secured the Paraguayan winger.

After weeks and weeks of negotiations, Forest have finally got Sosa through the doors after he completed his arrival on Friday.
“Ramon has been coveted by many clubs but was so clear in his desire to join Nottingham Forest,” Wilson told the club website.
“We could all feel his energy, emotion, pride and excitement to be here from the first minute he arrived.
“He can’t wait to get started and we are delighted that he is here with us.”
Ramon Sosa was desperate to sign for Nottingham Forest
Clearly, the forward is also absolutely delighted to have finally made this move happen ahead of the deadline at the end of the month.
It has been a testing few weeks for all involved with Talleres’ president sharing public statements about Forest’s attempts to sign Sosa.
And the player was so desperate to make the move that Sosa even rebelled against Talleres training to force a move to Forest.
Although this may mean the Paraguayan arrives at Forest without the fitness required to play straight away, it does show the player’s desire to play for the Reds.
