Nottingham Forest are now facing some serious competition when it comes to landing their seventh signing of the summer.
The Reds are now all set for their 2024/25 campaign to begin with Bournemouth traveling to the City Ground on Saturday for the curtain raiser.
Forest have prepared well this summer with Nuno Espirito Santo being handed six signings already in the window.
Evangelos Marinakis has certainly backed his manager but he will be hoping to see that translate into results on the pitch.
There are two weeks remaining until the window shuts for the summer but the Reds are still looking to cram in another couple of additions.

Nottingham Forest face Real Sociedad competition for attacker
Forest are closing in on the signing of Ramon Sosa who will shortly become their seventh signing of the summer.
Despite this, the Reds are still looking for more with an approach from Forest having been made for Barcelona’s Vitor Roque.
But according to UOL, Forest are now receiving competition for the attacker’s signature from inside La liga.
Indeed, the Europa League outfit, Real Sociedad, have now entered the race to sign Roque this summer with an offer having been made.
The report claims Sociedad are not alone in their pursuit of the 19-year-old Brazilian, though, with interest also coming from Portugal.
Barcelona could be willing to accept a loan for Roque but their preference would be a sale in the region of €30m (£25m).
Nottingham Forest also keen on Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah
Clearly, Forest are looking to bring in a new striker over the final two weeks of the transfer window with a number of targets on their radar.
Forest are also keeping an eye on Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah with his potential move to Bournemouth now off the cards.
Chris Wood had a sensational campaign last time out but it seems apparent that Forest are wanting to bring in a new striker.
Having done such good work in the market elsewhere, it does have to be questioned why Forest have left it until the final weeks to really go after a new striker when it is of such importance.
