Three points were added to the board for Nottingham Forest on Saturday after their victory over Ipswich Town.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side climbed up into sixth spot in the Premier League table following the full-time whistle thanks to Chris Wood’s penalty.
Wood equalled Bryan Roy’s Forest goals record with the spot kick which takes the striker on to 24 Premier League goals for the Reds.
And it was Jota Silva who provided the New Zealand international with the opportunity from the spot after being fouled inside the box.
Nuno recently praised Jota who was provided with his first start in the Premier League as a Forest player.
But not all were pleased with what they saw from the winger with Ipswich Town fans taking to social media during the game.

Ipswich Town fans slam Nottingham Forest’s Jota Silva
Nuno has helped Jota to settle in England being able to speak his native language and the 25-year-old was rewarded with his first start in the league.
Jota was taken down inside the penalty area by Ipswich’s Sammie Szmodics in what was a clumsy challenge from the attacker.
However, Ipswich fans took to social media to share their anger at what they felt were a number of dives from the Portuguese winger.
X user @rachii1979 said: ‘Jota and his acting’. Whilst another Ipswich fan @uchenna_maureen added: ‘Jota Silva dived and the Ref fell for it!’
And they were not the only fans upset with Jota as @__Kieranrainey claimed: ‘This Jota bloke might actually be the greatest actor/seller I’ve ever seen’. With @coachesser also saying: ‘Jota from NFC is ridiculous with these reactions. Barely touched on both and goes down like he got two-footed.’
Some fans really were not pleased with Jota as @Smithlar17Smith sarcastically added: ‘Love Jota cheating getting Cajuste booked…’ Whilst @BringleBris also said: ‘Jota Silva is a straight flopper bruh what am I seeing’.
Jota has enjoyed the challenge of the Premier League so far and it seems he is beginning to really find his feet at the City Ground.

Up until Saturday, Jota had made 11 appearances in the Premier League with all 257 minutes coming from the bench.

But he shone on Saturday after making his first start in the Premier League.
