Nottingham Forest have now entered the final week of the summer transfer window with any final deals needing to be completed.

For Nuno Espirito Santo, it has been a busy summer which has seen plenty of new recruits brought through the doors of the City Ground.

Evangelos Marinakis has seen players come and go this summer at Nottingham Forest but there is still time for work to be done in the market.

The Reds have already signed eight players this summer with one of those players having immediately departed on loan.

And it seems as if another could soon be about to follow in his footsteps and join Marinakis’ other club Olympiacos.

Nottingham Forest summer signing already set for loan exit

The Reds have been one of the more active sides in the Premier League this summer but they did have to sell some players this summer to avoid the PSR deadline in June.

Forest have just secured the signing of Alex Moreno on loan following the announcement of Ramon Sosa this time last week.

But it seems as if there is one summer signing who may already be sent elsewhere in order to seek more regular game time.

According to Greek outlet Sport Time, summer signing Jota Silva could be set to join Olympiacos before the end of the window.

This comes as the Greek side seek the signing of Wolves forward Daniel Podence who spent last season on loan with them.

However, if Olympiacos are unable to land Podence, they will likely receive the ‘very special‘ new Forest signing on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

Nottingham Forest have a surplus of options in attack

Already this summer, Forest have landed themselves a number of new forwards to bolster their options alongside Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga.

However, there is still one major position which could do with being added to over the coming days and that is up top.

Although Chris Wood may have got off to a positive start on the weekend, another striker could prove really important to Forest’s 2024/25 season.

Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah is believed to be an option for Forest as he seeks a new club before the end of the month.

But any deal is going to have to be pushed along with time not exactly on their side now.
