Nottingham Forest added another three points to the board on Saturday with a 3-0 victory over West Ham United.
With results elsewhere going in Forest’s favour, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side find themselves up in third spot of the Premier League table.
Chris Wood maintained his fine run of goalscoring form as he netted his eighth of the season in the Premier League.
And Callum Hudson-Odoi doubled their advantage before Ola Aina netted the third with a simply stunning effort.
Nuno commented on Wood’s Forest contract on Thursday with the New Zealand international’s deal at the City Ground set to end in the summer.
Wood was one of Forest’s injury concerns coming into the game against the Hammers but there was another big boost for the Reds with Morgan Gibbs-White returning to action.

What Nottingham Forest fans said about Morgan Gibbs-White
It may be Wood who will earn the plaudits for his sensational run of form in front of goal, but the Forest fans loved seeing Gibbs-White back in action as they took to X.
Clearly delighted with the midfielder’s performance, @BloggOdds said: “Fantastic to watch! MGW in a league of his own.”
“We are so much better with MGW,” added @LevoForest.
Another fan was in total agreement with @curt_nffc adding: “We have really missed you Morgan Gibbs-White”.
“MGW played well considering it’s his first game back,” said @NffcOwen.
@CarlosNFFC was another who though Forest were much improved with the midfielder back: “MGW very busy…all over pitch….we transition so quick when he’s in the team”.
“MGW as entered the room, good play,” @Garibaldi1969 simply said.
Ironically, coming into the game, Wood hailed Gibbs-White as an ‘outstanding talent’ and the pair certainly showed their ability against the Irons.
